BroadwayWorld has learned that stage and screen star Kim Cattrall has withdrawn from Royal Court Theatre's upcoming production of Penelope Skinner LINDA, at the 'advice of her doctors.' Olivier Award winner Noma Dumezweni replaces the SEX AND THE CITY alum in the title role.

The production will close on January 15, 2018, prior to launching a national tour, which will open Providence, R.I. Stops in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and more are currently scheduled.

The Lion King recently filmed its iconic opening number 'Circle of Life' using virtual reality technology, marking the first time the technology has been used inside a Broadway theatre. The 360° footage has been compiled to create the first-ever virtual reality experience of a theatrical production number captured exactly as it is seen onstage.
