Principal photography has commenced in Montreal on the new action-thriller, The Fixer. The four-hour miniseries event is produced by Muse Entertainment and distributed worldwide by Sonar Entertainment outside of Canada, for which Muse Distribution International retains rights. The Fixer will be featured by Sonar during MIPCOM, 2014.

Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding) has joined season five of the critically acclaimed hit SHOWTIME comedy series SHAMELESS, guest starring in a season-long story arc. Telemundo received three nominations for the 35th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, according to the announcement made today by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). More than 200 nominees were announced in 43 categories, including the first-ever categories dedicated to news and documentary programming in Spanish. The Awards will be given out on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, during a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, the home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located in the Time Warner Center in New York City.

Disney announced today that after a slew of auditions, newcomer Neel Sethi has landed the lead role of 'Mowgli' in the director's upcoming live-action adaptation The Jungle Book, according to Deadline. Directed by Favreau from a script by Justin Marks, The Jungle Book combines live action and animated filmmaking.

NBC Sports Group will celebrate 25 years of coverage this week of the American Century Championship – the nation's premier celebrity golf tournament – from Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Tahoe.
