Vega Baby Releasing has announced today that they have acquired North American DVD and VOD rights to the skateboarding documentary film SHReD: THE STORY OF ASHER BRADSHAW, which is directed by Katherine Herndl and produced by Wilmer Valderrama (“That 70's Show), and will release it to audiences via DVD and VOD July 14th, 2015. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today Let Us Now Praise Famous Men: The Films of Pedro Costa, from July 17-23. The series precedes the opening of the Portuguese auteur's long-awaited, "hauntingly beautiful" (Variety) new film, Horse Money, which played last fall at the 52nd New York Film Festival and opens theatrically at the Film Society on July 18.

The documentary RUBBLE KINGS will hit theaters today, June 19th in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, with a wider release to follow. The film, narrated by John Leguizamo, follows the story of the gangs that roamed the streets in NYC in the 70's and their impact at that time.

In 2003, the ambitious renovation of one of the world's greatest museums began. The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, home to a glorious collection including masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer, was supposed to reopen its doors in 2008 after five years of construction. But from the start, the project was opposed by unyielding bureaucrats and public resistance. The museum directors battled politicians, designers, curators and even the Dutch Cyclists Union as they struggled to complete the renovation and put its massive collection back on public display. Five years late, with costs exceeding half a billion dollars, the museum finally reopened.
