The International Human Rights Art Festival (IHRAF) is partnering with artistJamie Benson to co-produce Gay Stuff, a new web series designed to increase gay visibility in comedy and diffuse homophobia with humor. This partnership is in direct response to His Eminence Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan banning IHRAF's Prologue to Progress from being performed in St. Mary's Catholic Church last fall, due to LGBTQ content. The production begins filming in August 2018 and will seek out an inclusive local church to shoot scenes in.

Sundance Selects just released the first trailer for Ethan Hawke's upcoming film BLAZE. Directed by Ethan Hawke, BLAZE stars newcomer Ben Dickey as Blaze Foley, the unsung songwriting legend of the Texas outlaw music movement that spawned from the likes of Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. The film weaves together three different periods of time, braiding re-imagined versions of Blaze's past, present, and future. Rubblebucket - Kalmia Traver and Alex Toth - has shared a new single, 'Lemonade' off their forthcoming LP Sun Machine. While the LP, which is set for release August 24 on Grand Jury Music, documents the pain of the duo's long-term romantic relationship ending, it emerges as an unbridled and often-euphoric celebration of their lasting connection. Despite what they were going through, Kalmia and Alex kept on writing and recording together, ultimately creating what is their most transcendent album to date.
