Premium pay television network EPIX® has announced the 16 fighters who will be facing off with one another for the championship belt on the revival of boxing franchise series The Contender this fall. The highly anticipated 12-episode season, from MGM Television and Paramount Television, will premiere on EPIX on Aug. 24, 2018 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Valley Queen's powerful debut album Supergiant is out on July 13 via Roll Call Records and the Los Angeles-based four-piece just released 'Ride,' the latest song from the gorgeous set. WGN America announced today that Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother,” American Pie, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) will be joining the cast as a recurring guest star on the second season of the Mennonite crime drama, “Pure.” She will play “Esther Dunkel,” a lapsed Mennonite who is nobody's fool and has been helping her lawyer-boyfriend funnel a fortune in cartel cash through a local bank. When the cops start closing in on the ever-resourceful Esther, she has no other option but to engineer her own escape.
