Directed byTabbert Fiiller and released by Abramorama, the film will make its North American theatrical premiere on Friday, September 14 in New York City at Metrograph with more theatrical dates in October-November to coincide with PiL's North American fall tour. Glassnote Records in association with UROK Management presents Something American—the new mini-documentary from rising singer and songwriter Jade Bird. The Austin Roa-directed (Robert DeLong, Oberhofer) documentary follows Jade on tour from Austin, TX to Indio, California this past April, supporting her 2017 debut EP of the same name. Respected Dallas, TX-based singer/songwriter/producer/musician-of-many-trades Salim Nourallah is set to release a sprawling double-album, Somewhere South of Sane, on September 28, 2018 on Palo Santo Records.  In advance of the album release, Nourallah is releasing four pre-album “bundles” that will include tracks from the album as well as previously recorded but unreleased material or acoustic re-imaginings of tracks from past Nourallah albums.  Each bundle, (EP) will be accompanied by new online video content.  

Good Charlotte today announced a massive North American Tour in support of their anxiously awaited seventh full-length studio album, Generation Rx. The tour will kick off on October 12, 2018 in Mexico City, and wrap on November 24, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. Fan club pre-sale tickets will be available beginning July 10, 2018 at 10:00am local time, and general tickets will be available beginning July 13, 2018 at 10:00am local time HERE. Bivouac did everything a 3-piece alternative rock band from Derby, who grew up on a steady diet of Husker Du, Sonic Youth and The Pixies, could dream of doing in the nineties. They released a string of records on cool indie label Elemental, recorded sessions for John Peel, played with Fugazi and Jesus Lizard, danced onstage with Nirvana, signed to a major label and split up. They'd began in 1992 and were over by 1996, but in that brief period, Bivouac crafted some essential, skewed and fuzzy tuneage that has endured and lingered on the cult fringes of alternative rock, remember fondly by those that were there as the band got on with the rest of their lives.

Brooklyn-based musician John Brodeur is the New York songwriter and musician behind Bird Streets.  He will be live for an album release party at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 in Manhattan with Jaime Alegre (The Dig, Rathborne) on drums, and Scott Chasolen (The Machine) on keys on Thursday, August 9. 

Warner Bros. Records recording artist Lily Allen releases "Lost My Mind - Michael Calfan Respect Remix." "Lost My Mind' is from her critically acclaimed fourth album, No Shame, which was just released. The remix, by French DJ and Producer Michael Calfan who has already enjoyed a top 20 hit in the UK with his song "Treasured Soul," adds a club-ready beat under Lily's tropical-flecked confessional about a failing relationship, with Lily's typically stark lyrics revealing her self-doubt: "now I'm stuck in a rut, kicking stones, looking at my phone all night, maybe I've lost my mind?"
