Officially opened to the public on July 1, 2018, Museum of the Bible's newest exhibition, Sacred Drama: Performing the Bible in Renaissance Florence, offers a rare opportunity to learn about Sacred Drama (Sacra Rappresentazione), a theme never before featured in an exhibition in the United States. 

Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Wednesday, September 12 – Saturday, September 22, 2018) announced the seventh annual festival's entire lineup and invited Rochester to “Join the pARTy” at their BIG REVEAL press conference yesterday. On August 10, the Mississippi-bred singer & guitarist Jason Eady returns with a new album I Travel On. The album is his first to be recorded with his ace touring band who have been relentlessly touring behind Eady's critically acclaimed self-titled album that was released in 2017. GRAMMY-nominated musicians Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley accompanied Eady, his bandmates and wife Courtney Patton to round out the lineup that would execute the live, single-take sessions.

Based on the celebrated novel by Emily M. Danforth, The Miseducation of Cameron Post follows the titular character (Chloë Grace Moretz) as she is sent to a gay conversion therapy center after getting caught having sex with the prom queen. Run by the strict Dr. Lydia Marsh (Jennifer Ehle) and her brother, Reverend Rick (John Gallagher Jr.) — himself an example of how those in the program can be “cured” — the center is populated by teens 'struggling with same-sex attraction.' In the face of outlandish discipline, dubious methods, and earnest Christian rock songs, Cameron forms an unlikely gay community, including the amputee stoner Jane (Sasha Lane) and the Lakota Two-Spirit, Adam (Forrest Goodluck). In creating a family on her own terms, she learns what it means to empower herself and have confidence in her identity.

Freeform's buddy comedy “Alone Together” returns for its 10-episode, second season on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, with all-new back-to-back episodes at 8:00-8:30 p.m. and 8:30-9:00 p.m. EDT. The Lonely Island executive produced series will run for five weeks with two brand-new episodes debuting each week. The second season will feature a roster of stellar comedic acts as well as continuing to follow the platonic, dysfunctional co-dependent, best friendship of series executive producers, stars, and writers Esther Povitsky and Benji Aflalo.

In 1998, in partnership with Smith Music Group, led by Rick Smith, Sr., Billy Bob's Texas began recording live performances from select artists taking the stage of the award-winning nightclub to be part of their Live at Billy Bob's Texas series. The series launched with back to back recordings of Pat Green and Merle Haggard. Now, in 2018, the famed series is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.

Tyra Banks has revealed details of the long-awaited sequel to the 2000 Disney flick Life Size in which she co-starred with a young Lindsay Lohan. The supermodel/actress took to Instagram to reveal the sequel will air on Freeform and that she will be starring opposite Francia Raisa (Black-ish, Grown-ish, Fired Up!). Banks

SHOWTIME has ordered a new pilot NOW WHAT WITH AMANDA DE CADENET (working title), for a half-hour weekly news-magazine format created and hosted by Amanda de Cadenet (The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet). The show takes a thematic approach exploring America's current social, sexual, cultural and political issues, seen through de Cadenet's sharp, feminist lens. Emmy® nominee Inuka Bacote (Eastsiders), and Danielle Oexmann (Vice Does America) will serve as co-showrunners. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Programming, Showtime Networks.
