dick clark productions and NBC announced today the full line-up of presenters for the "2018 Billboard Music Awards." The film, television and music stars slated to take the stage throughout the night include Hailey Baldwin, Tyra Banks, Alison Brie, The Chainsmokers, Ciara, Andy Cohen, Simon Cowell, Darren Criss, Halsey, Tip "T.I." The Les Paul Foundation, whose mission is to honor and share the life, spirit and legacy of Les Paul through the generations has announced multi-GRAMMY Award winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist, Nile Rodgers, to be honored with the third annual Les Paul Spirit Award at this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.  The award will be presented to Rodgers on Saturday, June 9th, 2018, the same day Les Paul would have turned 103 years old. Previous recipients of the prestigious Les Paul Spirit Award were Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir (2016) and U2's The Edge (2017).

Great Performances: The Opera House, the new documentary by multiple Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Susan Froemke (Grey Gardens; Lalee's Kin: The Legacy of Cotton) surveys a remarkable period of the Metropolitan Opera's rich history and a time of great change for New York City. Drawing on rarely seen archival footage, stills and recent interviews, the film chronicles the creation of the Met's storied Lincoln Center home of the last 50 years, set against a backdrop of the artists, architects and politicians who shaped the cultural life of New York City in the 1950s and 60s. Among the notable figures featured in the film are famed soprano Leontyne Price, who opened the Met's present Opera House in 1966 with a starring role in Samuel Barber's Antony and Cleopatra; Rudolf Bing, the Met's imperious general manager who engineered the move from the old house to the new one; Robert Moses, the unstoppable city planner who bulldozed an entire neighborhood to make room for Lincoln Center; and Wallace Harrison, whose quest for architectural glory was never fully realized.

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sammy Strittmatter is set to release his ambitious fourth full-length album, Get Out of the City, on Palo Santo Records on May 18, 2018. Strittmatter, who has recorded and produced all of his records, got help on this outing from producer/label co-founder Salim Nourallah (Old 97's, Nicholas Altobelli, The Damnwells, Rhett Miller).

Aussie-American acoustically driven rock 'n' roll quintet THE WALK-A-BOUT hail from the artistic East End of Long Island, New York. The CW Network presents its 2018-19 primetime schedule to advertisers, affiliates, and press today, at the New York City Center in New York City, with the platinum-selling American rock band 30 Seconds to Mars opening the show with a performance of their new hit songs "Rescue Me" and "Walk on Water." Expanding to a six-night, Sunday-Friday schedule this fall, The CW will have 12 hours of original scripted series across the week in primetime this fall, more than ABC, NBC or Fox.

Libertyville, IL indie rock singer-songwriter Ike Reilly is set to release his seventh studio album, Crooked Love, on CD and digital formats on May 18, 2018 via Rock Ridge Music. (A vinyl version will be released later this year.)
