Based on Patrick Dewitt's acclaimed novel of the same name, follows two brothers - Eli and Charlie Sisters - who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss. The story, a genre-hybrid with comedic elements, takes place in Oregon in 1851. The film is Jacques Audiard's follow-up to his Palme D'Or Winning DHEEPAN, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

As a testament to the rapid growth of Dolby Cinema across the United States, the 100th site is being opened just three years after the first. The original agreement, reached in 2015, was for 100 auditoriums over a 10-year deployment.

SundanceTV, the official television network of the Sundance Film Festival, today announced that three short films from the 2018 Festival will launch exclusively on the network's website, SundanceTV.com, and the SundanceTV TVE app today, with more to come later in the year.  The network has also developed a new destination on SundanceTV.com to host these films, one of which won the top prize at this year's festival and two of which are animated.

Hulu and VICE Media announced their first-ever content licensing agreement. The new pact — VICELAND's first SVOD partnership — will increase Hulu's library of unscripted programming with 15 critically acclaimed series from VICELAND, including all past episodes of the Emmy Award-nominated Gaycation and Woman, as well as popular shows such as F*ck, That's Delicious.  These and other VICELAND series will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu beginning June 8th, significantly expanding the reach of the new channel's award-winning content library.

Chuck Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night, will join the Happy Together Tour for a fifth year. The tour kicks off June 7 in Jacksonville, Fla., and will wrap on Aug. 26 in Deadwood, S.D. Grammy-nominated musician Grace Potter announced today the lineup for the 2018 Grand Point North music festival set to take place September 15 and 16 at Burlington, Vermont's Waterfront Park. Texas' genre-bending rock 'n' roller Israel Nash announces the release of his fifth studio album, Lifted, on July 27th, 2018 via Desert Folklore Music/Thirty Tigers. Debuting the album's first single “Rolling On” with Magnet Magazine, they describe, “The ethereal ode to perseverance neatly encapsulates the ambitious sonic direction and pronounced optimism of the LP as a whole, which marries the steel-guitar-drenched psychedelic country/folk vibe of his last two releases with layers of echoey '60s-pop classicism.” The track acts as the album's manifesto, an anthem of urgency, encouraging the listener to let go of yesterday's troubles and move forward with positivity. Raphael Saadiq recently announced his first headline tour in several years. Today, he announced that his longtime friend and Lucy Pearl bandmate Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest)--who recently announced new album TheMidnight Hour with Adrian Younge and featuring Saadiq, among other noteworthy musicians--will support him on several dates of the summer run. Flint, MI musician & activist Tunde Olaniran will also join the pair at Detroit's MOCAD. In addition to his headline dates, musician and producer Saadiq is set to perform at Chicago'sPitchfork Festival (read 'The Meaning of Soul Music According to Raphael Saadiq' via the 2017 Pitchfork here). The tour dates come as the Oscar-nominated Grammy-winner finishes work on his much-anticipated fifth solo album and first since 2011's Stone Rollin'.

On Saturday, June 2, Rooftop Films will return to Green-Wood Cemetery for the New York Premiere of the hilarious Western-comedy Damsel. The evening will feature live music and an after-party with drinks from Corona Extra, Ketel One Family Made Vodka, and Fever-Tree.
