On August 10, the Mississippi-bred singer & guitarist Jason Eady returns with a new album I Travel On. The album is his first to be recorded with his ace touring band who have been relentlessly touring behind Eady's critically acclaimed self-titled album that was released in 2017. GRAMMY-nominated musicians Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley accompanied Eady, his bandmates and wife Courtney Patton to round out the lineup that would execute the live, single-take sessions.

Grill masters from four popular barbecue regions across the country are entering theChopped kitchen for a fiery new season of Chopped Grill Masters, premiering Tuesday, July 31st at 9:00pm ET/PT on Food Network. Over five episodes, four top-notch grill masters from Kansas City, Missouri; North Carolina; Memphis, Tennessee; and Texas compete for a cash prize and hometown bragging rights. At last night's Reeperbahn Festival New York Edition at A2IM Indie Week presented by SoundExchange, the 2018 jury for the ANCHOR Award—the award that Reeperbahn Festival launched in 2016 to identify the most promising emerging musical talent—was detailed. It had previously been made public that KCRW's Chris Douridas and Jason Bentley, David Bowie's longtime producer Tony Visconti, and 2017 ANCHOR winner Jade Bird will be on this year's jury (just as 2016 winner Albin Lee Meldau was on 2017's jury); last night, producer/4 Non Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry and Morcheeba frontwoman Skye Edwards were announced as jury additions. Consequence of Sound broke the news on-site.
