Good Foot Project Presents ON THE GOOD FOOT, 3/9

Painter and photographer, JC Jaress and his wife, the award-winning filmmaker, Anastasia King Jaress, announce the launch of their radical new venture, Good Foot Project - www.goodfootproject.com. They will be hosting 'ON THE GOOD FOOT' on March 9, 2013 at the Los Angeles Center For Digital Art, 102 W. 5th St. in Downtown LA. The action-packed event will feature an art sale and auction of selected works, live performances by singers Erin Powers and Jody Jaress and a community Q&A. The event, organized to raise funds to support the Jaress' education and resource sharing efforts, will close with a set by the incomparable DJ MOOP.

The Building Stage's Founder and Artistic Director Blake Montgomery announces that the world premiere of Dawn, Quixote, conceived and directed by Montgomery, at The Building Stage, 412 N. Carpenter Street in Chicago's West Loop, March 22 - April 27 will be the final production for The Building Stage. Previews are Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m. Opening/press night is Monday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursday - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Tickets for the previews are students/children: $5, adults: $15 and for the regular run, students/children: $15/$20 and adults: $25/$30. The Seacoast Repertory Theatre has announced the start of its 25th Anniversary Season with A Chorus Line. This multiple Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical is being directed and choreographed by Bryan Knowlton, a Portsmouth native who grew up on The Rep stage and went on to perform in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. With that kind of talent The Rep's 2013 Mainstage season opener is sure to be the hottest ticket in town. "I went onto college, toured the country in three first nationals (Broadway tours), got my equity card and landed a starring role on Broadway" says Knowlton. "But, it was here at The Rep, through my teachers, friends and mentors that I found the love for theatre."
