With a promotional campaign titled '#TheWorldIsListening,' the interviews will help build anticipation for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound on the CBS Television Network from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The David Wax Museum brings their up and coming indie rock music to The Colonial Theatre on January 4 at 8pm. Their unique Mexican folk, American roots and indie sound is not to be missed.

In a historic ceremony on Monday, December 17th, the blockbuster musical WICKED's iconic Elphaba costume, hat and broom were inducted into the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Tony Award-winning costume designer Susan Hilferty was on hand to sign the deed of gift as well as Broadway cast members Donna Vivino and Tiffany Haas who sang a selection of song from WICKED to commemorate this significant event. The costume elements will join objects from the musicals King and I, Rent and The Lion King in the museum's permanent entertainment collections.

On Sunday, January 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m., Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra's Senior Symphony presents Mark Niehaus as soloist at its annual Founders Concert, a gala performance featuring the organization's internationally acclaimed flagship ensemble, the Senior Symphony. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center today announced the appointment of Grammy and two-time Emmy Award winner John McDaniel as Artistic Director of the Cabaret & Performance Conference, its third, which will take place July 31 - August 10, 2013. The Conference focuses on developing new artists and forms for cabaret theater, and closes the O'Neill professional summer season of new work annually.

Comix At Foxwoods will present a new ‘Nasty'-themed show that will feature national headliners and take place on designated Saturdays during the coveted 10:30 p.m. timeslot. FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at the DuPont Theatre for eight performances only on January 29- February 3, 2013, as part of their 100th Anniversary Season.

Six D.C.-area playwrights have been selected to participate in the inaugural Playwrights' Arena as part of the American Voices New Play Institute at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Playwrights' Arena is a collaborative group of local writers dedicated to the support and development of each other's work and practice. The yearlong program commences in January 2013, and the inaugural members include Norman Allen, Randy Baker, Jacqueline E. Lawton, Heather McDonald, Danielle Mohlman and Shawn Northrip. Also in January as part of the Institute's programming will be the next installment of the Kogod Cradle Series featuring readings of The Age of Innocence, a new adaptation for the stage by Resident Playwright Karen Zacarías, January 14-16, 2013.

Trevor Nunn directs the Old Vic and Chichester Festival Theatre's production of KISS ME, KATE, with Music and lyrics by Cole Porter and Book by Sam and Bella Spewack, which opened in November at the Old Vic.

Performances of Tennessee Williams' CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF starring Scarlett Johansson as Maggie, Ciarán Hinds as Big Daddy, Benjamin Walker as Brick and Debra Monk as Big Mama, directed by Rob Ashford, begin tonight, Tuesday, December 18 at 7pm.
