92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continues his popular interview series, "Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth," with award winning stage and screen actress Edie Falco on Sunday, April 7th at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Falco, the Emmy Award-winning star of "Nurse Jackie", will return to the New York stage this season in Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming The Madrid.

Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque, the kick-off to a season of sexy striptease events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will now include two sizzling performances on Sunday, January 27, at XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street).

Juan Diego Flórez will reprise his acclaimed portrayal of the amorous title character in the first Met revival of Rossini's Le Comte Ory, opening January 17. As Countess Adèle, the beautiful aristocrat Ory schemes to seduce, 27-year-old South African soprano Pretty Yende makes her Met debut. Bartlett Sher returns to direct his 2011 Met premiere production, which will once again be conducted by Maurizio Benini. The cast also includes Karine Deshayes in the trouser role of Ory's page, Isolier; Susanne Resmark as Ragonde;Nathan Gunn in his Met role debut as Raimbaud; and Italian bass Nicola Ulivieri in his Met debut as the Tutor.

Spring Awakening, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, will open Olney Theatre Center 75th Anniversary Season playing on the Mainstage February 7 - March 10, 2013.

The Jewish Museum will present Animals Illuminated Family Day, a fun-filled multi-generational event celebrating the exhibition, Crossing Borders: Manuscripts from The Bodleian Libraries, on Sunday, January 20 from 12 noon to 4 pm. As part of the official kick off to National Blood Donor Month, the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino hosted a blood drive to benefit United Blood Services. Over the course of four hours, 53 total units were collected with 41 successful donations, more than doubling the original expectations for the event. All donors received a free pair of tickets to Evil Dead: The Musical and a comic book from MaximuM Comics.

Thalia's Umbrella, a new professional theater company, announces their first production: the dark comedy A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, by Peter Nichols. Named one of the 'most significant' plays of the 20th century by the National Theatre of Great Britain, Joe Egg will be performed January 31-February 17, 2013, in the Bullitt Cabaret at ACT Theatre, and is produced with support from ACT's Central Heating Lab.

The Houston Symphony will honor the great Louis Armstrong and his musical masterpieces in a concert January 18, 19 and 20. Joining the orchestra will be Byron Stripling, a prominent figure in the modern American jazz scene. Stripling was chosen to portray Louis Armstrong himself in Broadway's Satchmo, a musical based on the life of the musician and inspired by Armstrong's musical style.

Comedian Jeff Garlin will be headlining the Laughing Skull Lounge in Atlanta during the weekend of January 18th, the weekend that was originally scheduled for Dave Foley, who had to reschedule due to landing a series pilot.
