On the heels of their acclaimed 2012 year-long world tour, Crosby, Stills & Nash will tour again in 2013, beginning with a series of dates in May in the Southeastern United States. The tour begins May 5 at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL, and concludes at the Hard Rock Casino & Resort in Biloxi, MS on May 25. Other highlights include Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL (May 7), the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, FL (May 10-11), the Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, SC (May 21), and the Performing Arts Center in Montgomery, AL (May 24). Hartt School Announces PREPARACION FISICA Classes

The Hartt School Community Division brings Preparacion Fisica dance classes to the Greater-Hartford community in 2013. The classes will be instructed by Eddy Tovar of the Texas Ballet Theatre. Preparacion Fisica is a physical training program designed for the Cuban national Ballet School and used by top ballet performers throughout the world. Classes are for adults and teens age 15 and up. Starting January 25, 2013, classes take place every Friday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the University of Hartford's Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford. Students may register for the full spring semester, purchase a 10-class dance card, or drop in. Connecticut's premier outdoor Shakespeare company announced today that it will present As You Like It, one of Shakespeare's most beloved and pastoral comedies in the summer of 2013. Claire Shannon Kelly, currently the Director of Youth Programming for Shakespeare on the Sound and the director of the company's touring educational program, "Speaking Daggers," will direct. Kelly previously worked at the Ordway Theater, the Guthrie Theater, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and the George Street Playhouse.

Stages of Discovery will sponsor a workshop, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 on Directing. The workshop is for high school students and adults and will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. The workshop will be taught by Leeds Bird, a long-time director at Bay City Players. Leeds has a master's degree in theatre from MSU and is a retired high school theatre teacher. He also has experience as a professional actor and director.

The Buck Creek Players will continue their 2012-2013 season 'In the Spotlight' with the hilarious comedy Escanaba in da Moonlight, written by Jeff Daniels (The Hours, Terms of Endearment, Dumb and Dumber). Opening Friday, January 25th, and running for two weekends through Sunday, February 3rd, curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on Indianapolis' southeast-side at 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for students (through college), and senior citizens (ages 62 and older). This production is recommended for audiences ages 13 and older.
