The show broke the record at the Des Moines Civic Center grossing $1,563,897.00. THE BOOK OF MORMON breaks the record, previously set by WICKED in 2009.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, will end its triumphant limited engagement this Sunday, February 10th at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Starring Judd Hirsch as Sigmund Freud and Tom Cavanagh as C. S. Lewis, FREUD'S LAST SESSION is directed by Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production. The Little Opera Theatre of NY announces its spring 2013 production of Christoph Willibald Gluck's tragi-comic opera The Reformed Drunkard. Eight performances will be presented from MARCH 16-24 at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). On Way Down Low, Edmonson makes her songwriting and production debut. New York City Opera concludes its spring 2013 BAM residency and celebrates the centennial of composer Benjamin Britten (1913-1976) with a brand-new production of Britten's chamber opera The Turn of the Screw (1954). Based on the classic ghost story by Henry James, the opera's libretto is by Myfanwy Piper. The production, conducted by Jayce Ogren, marks the opera debut of Sam Buntrock, the theater director best known for his award-winning staging of Sunday in the Park with George in the West End and on Broadway.

The Society of Composers (SCI) National Conference will be held at Ohio State February 13-16, under the auspices of the School of Music's Contemporary Music Festival. The festival will feature 100 new works of music in 12 concerts over the three and a half days, many of which are world premieres. The festival also will welcome guest composers, performers, and scholars from all over the United States, panel sessions on new music, and performances by Ohio State faculty and students.

Platinum-selling pianist and songwriter Jim Brickman will bring his romantic music to Atlanta Symphony Hall for Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Brickman will join the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski for a program full of love songs, including "Valentine," "The Gift," and "Love of my Life."
