Director Rutherford Cravens brings together four students - Christine Arnold, Nicole Gamache, Miguel Garcia, Paige Warton - from the University of Houston School of Theatre and professional actor Eva Laporte for the five-person adaptation.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Katie Holmes, among others, to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States.

Coeurage Theatre Company Presents THE TROUBLE WITH WORDS, Beginning 2/28February 6, 2013Coeurage Theatre Company (Jeremy Lelliott, Artistic Director) has announced a limited return engagement of The Trouble With Words. The 2011 Ovation Award-winner for Original Music and Lyrics (Gregory Nabours), will once again be directed by Patrick Pearson and will run at The Lost Studio on S. La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. There will be two preview performances on Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1 at 8pm, and opening is set for Saturday, March 2 at 8pm. The Trouble With Words will play through March 31 only.

Michael Tilson Thomas & San Francisco Symphony Come to Carnegie Hall, 3/20-21February 6, 2013Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) and the San Francisco Symphony (SFS) will perform four concerts on their 2013 East Coast tour from March 20 to 23, with performances in New York at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium (March 20-21); in Newark at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) (March 22); and in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center (March 23). The tour repertoire spans the breadth of MTT and the SFS's hallmark programming, with performances of core repertoire including Mahler, Brahms, and Beethoven, and a contemporary work by American composer Samuel Carl Adams.

In Shakespeare's beloved comedy Much Ado About Nothing, Don Pedro and his men return victoriously from war to the house of Leonato, Governor of Messina. Proven in battle, Claudio proposes to Leonato's dutiful daughter Hero, to the dismay of his comrade, Benedick, who wittily battles with the Lady Beatrice on the demerits of love. The stage is set for merry conflict as those who jest at love are caught in a hilarious conspiracy to make them fall in love. Meanwhile a sinister plot brews to unmake Claudio and Hero's nuptials, setting in motion a series of events that challenge loyalties, test character, and examine the fickleness of life and love.
Mission Creek Festival Announces Additional ArtistsFebruary 5, 2013The Mission Creek Festival has released the second announcement of artists performing at this year's festival. New acts scheduled to perform include supergroup Divine Fits, 30-piece punk marching band Mucca Pazza, rising metal group Pallbearer, and rock duo JEFF the Brotherhood. Other new additions are Mister Lies, Ital, Pete Swanson Future Rock, Pujol, Container, and Iowa-based artists Har-di-Har, Gloom Balloon, Mirror Coat, Ex-Action Model, No Coast, and Gem Jones.
