The acclaimed Los Angeles Philharmonic and its dynamic music director, Gustavo Dudamel, return to New York for the first time since 2010 for two concerts at Avery Fisher Hall, as part of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, March 27 and 28, 2013. Maestro Dudamel and the Orchestra arrive at Lincoln Center with two adventurous programs of 20th and 21st century music which showcases the ensemble's place as one of the world's most forward-thinking orchestras, including the New York premiere of a co-commissioned work by the eminent American composer John Adams.

Triple platinum recording artist Aaron Carter will be performing his final week as Matt in The Fantasticks. His last performance will be on Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Carter is leaving the production to do a national tour.

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council officially announced the creation of a partnership with Perseverance Theatre to work together towards the creation of a new theatre complex for Alaska's capital city.

The LA Turkish Film Festival has announced today their final slate of four feature films that will screen at their second annual festival at Hollywood's Egyptian Theater. The festival opens on Thursday, February 28th at 7:00pm with the screening of Yilmaz Erdogan's THE BUTTERFLY'S DREAM (Kelebegin Ruyasi), which is the tale of two poets who fall in love with the same woman. Starting the following evening, a new feature from Turkish filmmakers will screen nightly at the Egyptian, followed by a Q & A that will be moderated by industry professionals. The festival concludes on March 3rd.

Artistic Director Paul Robinson will direct Theatre503's first Second Look production, a revival of Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. A perfectly preserved comic snapshot of Edinburgh's underworld, Simon Donald's play premiered at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh before transferring the Donmar Warehouse in 1993. The Life of Stuff will run at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May.

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced the 2013/14 season. Featured next season are Innovation, a programme of three world premieres by three brilliant Canadian choreographers: Robert Binet, Jose Navas and James Kudelka, the Canadian premiere of Spectre de la Rose, re-imagined by Stuttgart Ballet's Choreographer in Residence Marco Goecke, and treasured classics Swan Lake and Onegin. The season begins with more touring as the company debuts in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The Ruckus Theater and Tympanic Theatre Company have announced their upcoming world premiere co-production of Brewed. Developed over the course of 8 years through a series of workshops, the script of Brewed is written by Scott T. Barsotti and directed by Anna C. Bahow. The cast of seven women is a motley crew of Ruckus and Tympanic regulars and Chicago theater favorites. Brewed is performed at Theater Wit (1229 W. Belmont) March 2-24, 2013. Thursday-Saturday performances are at 8:00pm; Sunday performances are at 7:00pm. Preview is on Friday, March 1 and tickets are $12. Press opening is on Monday, March 4, 2013. General tickets are $17. On Friday, February 22, TheatreWorks New Milford will launch its 2013 Season with award-winning playwright Christopher Durang's musical comedy, ADRIFT IN MACAO, with book and lyrics by Durang and music by Peter Melnick. The curtain goes up at 8:00 p.m. for a five-weekend run.

Ravinia today announced the festival debut of country rock band Alabama on Friday, August 30, part of their Back to Bowery Tour. Tickets to this event and all Ravinia summer events will be on sale to the public on April 25. A full list of 2013 summer events will be announced on March 7.

The stage of the historic Lake Worth Playhouse was transformed into a formal dining room on Saturday evening, February 9, in honor of the Theater's 60th anniversary. Sitting at the head of the table, entertaining the happy guests gathered about him, was none other than mega star and Palm Beach County resident Burt Reynolds.

This spring, pianist Jonathan Biss embarks on a three-concert Zankel Hall series that focuses on the music of Schumann, Jana?ek, and Mozart, including a solo recital and two chamber music programs with the Elias String Quartet. The recital, on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m., features Schumann's Fantasiestucke interspersed with selections from Jana?ek's On the Overgrown Path. Also on the program is Schumann's Davidsbundlertanze and Mozart's Minuet in D Major and Adagio in B Minor.

ACT has announced some of the casting for the first half of the upcoming Mainstage season. ACT's own Artistic Director Kurt Beattie gets back on the boards alongside Jeff Steitzer, Marianne Owen, Julie Briskman, and Laura Kenny in Assisted Living.
