The GRAMMY Foundation (www.grammyfoundation.org) today announced that GRAMMY Camp — its signature music industry camp for U.S. high school students — will be held in Los Angeles and New York in summer 2013. This will be the ninth camp held in Los Angeles, and the third in New York.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Chinatown restaurants mobilized and created the Second Annual Chinatown Restaurant Week from March 16 to 31, 2013, which offers $20.13 lunch and dinner specials that include the flavorful highlights of Shanghai, Sichuan, Hanoi, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Peking cuisines some with European, French, Italian, Mexican, and American influences.

On Monday, April 29, The New York Pops marks its 30th birthday with a grand gala evening honoring the musical talents of songwriters Frank Loesser and Jule Styne, and the centennial of legendary entertainer Danny Kaye. Paula Zahn, host of NYC ARTS on PBS, will host the evening.

Betty Buckley, currently appearing in London's DEAR WORLD, reunited with some special guests recently: her CARRIE co-star Linzi Hateley and lyricist Dean Pitchford. The actress shared the reunion on Instagram, writing: 'Dean Pitchford, Linzi Hateley & me last night at dinner after 'Dear World.'

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) continues to seek Short Subject submissions for its fourteenth season, running from July 15 - August 4, 2013. Instead of a traditional deadline for submissions (long past), the search for short plays is ongoing.

The Heart of an Irishwoman is described as a visual, audible and musical celebration of strength, courage, passion, great humor; the heart of Ireland and its women from ancient times to the 17th Century and on to the 20th century. Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, will continue its 2012-2013 20th anniversary season-long celebration with the new thriller, Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club by nationally acclaimed playwright Jeffrey Hatcher, directed by GET Artistic Director Robert J. Farley, running February 28 through March 17, 2013, at the Theatre's home, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) will welcome Phil Bronstein - esteemed journalist and Executive Chair of the Board for the Center for Investigative Reporting - for a special postshow discussion with A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff immediately following the 8 p.m. performance of George F. Walker's Dead Metaphor on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The discussion will explore issues raised by Dead Metaphor, including nationwide unemployment rates among veterans and the politics of postwar living. Bronstein will also discuss his recent investigative report on the Navy Seal responsible for killing Osama Bin Laden who has since had difficulty finding a job back at home (http://cironline.org/theshooter). The Dramatists Guild Fund (DGF) announces that it will begin expanding its Dramatists Guild Fellows Program through collaboration with developmental theater organizations. Each resident theater program will select one playwright or writing team to join their workshop season.

The Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy will present Grit, Graft & Grandeur: The Bowery, a walking tour with Eric Ferrara on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 10:45 AM. Meeting at the southeast corner of Centre and Worth Streets, this two-hour walking tour explores the Bowery, one of the most important thoroughfares of New York City's Lower East Side, as well as the historic neighborhood known as Five Points. Often associated with its 20th century reputation as 'Skid Row,' this under-appreciated avenue was also once one of the most fashionable addresses in New York and is now a quickly gentrifying artery of the East Village. Ferrara, founder of the Lower East Side History Project and a fourth-generation Lower East Sider, discusses the Bowery's history, evolution and its place in New York City today.

Glass Mind Theatre will bring Baltimore the world premiere of A House, A Home - a brand new adaptation of Chekhov's Three Sisters, written and directed by Ben Hoover. The show runs at E.M.P. Collective from April 5 - 14, 2013 pm Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will present Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", playing from March 22-April 21, 2013. Akvavit Theatre presents two Chicago and one United States premieres of the work of Europe's most-produced living playwright, Norway's Jon Fosse, under the unified title of Gjenganger, February 28 - March 24, 2013 at the DCASE Storefront Theater, 66 East Randolph St. The "short full-length" plays, presented in rotation (two per night and all three Sundays) are: Winter, directed by Paul S. Holmquist, Autumn Dream, directed by Breahan Eve Pautsch,* and A Summer's Day, directed by Wm. Bullion.* Original musical arrangements for the three plays are by Dag Juhlin of Poi Dog Pondering. The performance schedule for Gjenganger is Thursdays (A Summer's Day/Winter), Fridays (Winter/Autumn Dream) and Saturdays (Autumn Dream/A Summer's Day) at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays (all three plays) at 3 p.m. ("Gjenganger" is the Norwegian word for "those who walk again.")

Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band will return to the New York stage on Saturday, March 30th at 54 Below. The 11pm concert, co-produced and directed by Max Friedman, will feature a host of Broadway talent.

Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson's Epic Pictures Group is expanding its film production and finance operations with the hiring of John Short as V.P. of International Sales. The hiring marks Ewald and Berenson's commitment to focus on Epic's original productions, while Short will oversee day-to-day operations for the company's successful foreign sales business. Short is introducing Epic's slate at the upcoming Filmart in Hong Kong, March 18-21 and will then attend the Marche du Film in Cannes, May 16-25.

Broadway actress Hilary Maiberger, who plays the lead role of Belle in the touring production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, will visit Roy Herburger Elementary School in Elk Grove as part of the school's "Read A Book For Belle" contest, which is tied to their accelerated reading program. Maiberger will be at the school on Friday, March 8, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM to congratulate "Read A Book For Belle" contest winners and read to students in classrooms.

August Strindberg told his publisher that Creditors was 'humorous, loveable, all of its characters sympathetic.' That may say more about Strindberg than Creditors. The play does indeed have its comic moments, but it is a humor as dark as midwinter Sweden.
