Everybody say, YEAH! The Canadian premiere of the Tony Award-winning KINKY BOOTS officially opened on June 28 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, after playing previews since June 16.

Peregrine Theatre Ensemble will be performing its entire 2015 season in the old high school auditorium at Provincetown Schools, 12 Winslow Street in Provincetown, MA. This allows Peregrine to transform the space into Carrie's high school in Chamberlain, Maine. During this interactive theatrical experience they invite the audience to attend prom and fully commit to the world of CARRIE the musical for a night they will never forget.

The Bard SummerScape festival presents an entirely new way to experience Oklahoma!, Rodgers and Hammerstein's quintessential celebration of the American frontier. Starring Damon Daunno,Amber Gray, and two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa, Bard's production is directed by Daniel Fish - "a magical manipulator" (New York Times) - with new musical arrangements for a six-piece Americana band by Henry Hewes Award-winner Daniel Kluger, and new choreography by Jacob's Pillow Dance Award-winner John Heginbotham.

The Segal Centre will close its blockbuster 2014-2015 Theatre Season with The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz: The Musical, a world premiere musical adaptation of Mordecai Richler's novel and the feature film by the same name, from June 7-28, 2015. This new production boasts an original musical score by Alan Menken, the legendary Oscar and Tony winning composer of Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, with book and lyrics by acclaimed lyricist-librettist David Spencerand direction by American theatre veteran Austin Pendleton. The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, presents the six-time Tony Award-winning classic, CITY OF ANGELS, winner of Best Musical, Best Original Score by David Zippel and Cy Coleman, and Best Book by Larry Gelbart, opening tomorrow, June 17th, and running through August 2. Thanks to their fantastic performing arts skills and Las Casas Foundation, two aspiring teen performers will start their summers in the spotlight on a Broadway stage! Through the 2015 Las Casas Performing Arts Scholarship Competition, "The Joci Awards", talented teens Travis Anderson and Sabrina Uriegas are off to New York City to participate in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA), June 24 through June 30.

TAP WORLD opens in theaters in NY, DC and a few other cities on July 10th.  The release coincides with Tap City, a major tap festival held annually in New York.  It features dancers from all over the world.  http://www.atdf.org/tapcity.html.

Evatt Salinger and Emma Buchanan of Durango High School, who last month were named Outstanding Actor and Actress at the 2015 Bobby G Awards at the Denver Center, sang the National Anthem before a crowd of 30,698 at the Colorado Rockies' game against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 10 at Coors Field. It was the first time either of the students had set foot in a major sports stadium.

When Cherry Creek's Jimmy Miller accepted his share of the Outstanding Costumes award, he said of late DCPA President and Bobby G Awards Founder Randy Weeks: 'Cherry Creek was honored with one of these last year, and I had the honor of receiving it from Mr. Randy Weeks. I know that he would say to all of you, 'Congratulations to all of the designers, technicians and artists in Colorado high-school theatre.'
