Get out your 'Boogie Shoes' as Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) presents a New England Regional Theatre Premiere that will leave you with 'Night Fever!' SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER The Musical is one high-energy musical featuring all the music from the film, the disco dancing that defined a decade, and those classic '70s fashions that may be better left forgotten! SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER The Musical is now playing thru Sunday, August 23.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, will present the premiere of You're Standing in My Way: A New Song Cycle by William Finn and Deborah Abramson, from August 14-17 at Mr. Finn's Cabaret, located on the lower level of the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield.  In the video below, Sally Wilfert is singing a song from the songwriting team of Deborah Abramson and two time Tony Award winner William Finn. Signature Theatre presents The Fix, directed by Signature Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). Featuring a book by John Dempseyand music by Dana P. Rowe (the creators of Brother Russia and The Witches of Eastwick), the show quickly became a favorite among Signature's artistic team during its U.S. premiere at the Theatre in 1998, cementing a longstanding relationship with Dempsey and Rowe. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus presents the world premiere musical Waitress. Based on the motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly the new musical has a book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, direction by Diane Paulus, and choreography by Chase Brock. Comedy legend Stephen Fry, Great British Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc and Spice Girl Emma Bunton are the first celebrities to be announced as special guest stars in the Gala Charity Performance of The Rocky Horror Show at London's Playhouse Theatre on 17th September, which will be broadcast live to cinemas across the UK and Europe.

Just in! BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at highlights of a new reimaged EVITA at Serenbe Playhouse. The Playhouse will make the leap from the brutal, humid streets of New Orleans to the lush and rebellious countryside of Argentina with their audacious retelling of the country of Argentina's most infamous political figure. Since the bulk of the play is set in the rural countryside of Argentina, the play will be brought to life in the fresh rolling hills of Serenbe. There, Serenbe Playhouse's beloved Randi Garza will make the famed ascent of Eva. Eventually, at her side in her famed balcony will be world-renowned Argentinian tango and opera singer Cesar Restrepo as Juan Peron. Steaming things up in the background with his talk of revolution will be Broadway's Charlie Brady as Che Guevera. Check out a first look below!

La Jolla Playhouse opened its world premiere of UP HERE, a new musical comedy featuring book, music and lyrics by the husband-and-wife composing team of Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (In Transit), recipients of the 2014 Academy Award for Best Original Song for their hit song, 'Let It Go,' from the Disney animated film Frozen. UP HERE is directed by Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Broadway's Rocky, Off-Broadway's Here Lies Love, Playhouse's Peter and the Starcatcher) and runs now through September 6 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre.
