Newly adapted by David Hare and directed by Jonathan Kent, YOUNG CHEKHOV: THE BIRTH OF A GENIUS, opened on 17 October, which presents a unique theatrical event seeing a repertory cast of 23 actors performing 50 parts in PLATONOV, IVANOV and THE SEAGULL. For the first time ever on this scale, audiences will be given the opportunity to see all three shows in close proximity performed by the same group and with the same creative team.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma continues its new works initiative this fall with BERNICE BOBS HER HAIR, a world premiere musical that will take its first bows at Lyric's Plaza Theatre. The show, written by the lauded pair of Adam Gwon and Julia Jordan, runs October 7 through 25. Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story of the same name, the show tells the story of 18 year old Bernice Harvey's journey from socially awkward to the belle of the country club- and back again.  Check out a first look at highlights below!

BAFTA nominated writer and director Paul Andrew Williams made his theatre debut with original play Ticking which opened at London's Trafalgar Studios on the 6th October for a five week run.

A brand new trailerhas been released for The Edge, the powerful production devised by award-winning company Transport Theatre. The Alliance Theatre's production of A STEADY RAIN, a contemporary crime drama by writer and producer Keith Huff(Mad Men, American Crime), is directed by Steppenwolf Theatre co-founder Jeff Perry (who currently plays White House Chief of Staff Cyrus Beene on ABC's SCANDAL).
