Directed by Cosmin Chivu, legendary avant-garde performers Mink Stoleand Penny Arcade will star in the first New York revival of The Mutilated in 38 years. The production features original music composed byJesse Selengut, performed by the three-piece combo Tin Pan.

The Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta (ECMSA) celebrates twenty-one years of bringing internationally renowned musicians to the Atlanta community.

This play reveals to the very depths the character of Blanche du Bois, a woman whose life has been undermined by her romantic illusions, which lead her to reject-so far as possible- the realities of life with which she is faced and which she consistently ignores. The pressure brought to bear upon her by her sister, with who she goes to live in New Orleans, intensified by the earthy and extremely 'normal' young husband of the latter, leads to a revelation of her tragic self-delusion and, in the end, to madness.

Nick Payne has 'dismissed rumors that his award-winning 2012 play Constellations is being adapted for the big screen.' In an interview with WhatsOnStage, Payne said that a film was previously discussed, but realized that he 'didn't know how to do it on film.'

Reza Aslan's new book Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth has reached No. 1 on Amazon.com and is expected to debut on the New York Times bestseller list this weekend. Aslan wants to 'show the power of Jesus as a flesh-and-blood human being, rather than the savior of the world.' However, critics say that Aslan has 'created his own version of Jesus' and question if his Muslim faith makes him qualified to write on the subject.
