Opera Australia presents a concert celebration of the works of Gilbert and Sullivan, featuring highlights from The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S Pinafore, and Iolanthe. Powerhouse singers Ben Mingay and Antoinette Halloran headline an all-star cast that also includes John Longmuir, Alexander Lewis, Cathy-Di Zhang, Danielle Bavli, Ruth Strutt, and Leon Vitogiannis. Director Stuart Maunder AM links beloved tunes with dialogue from the works and musings from Gilbert and Sullivan themselves. Conductor Chad Kelly leads Orchestra Victoria through an evening of operatic wit, whimsy, and unforgettable song.
