Award-winning cabaret artist Tomas Ford promises to leave audiences shaken, stirred and thoroughly entertained when he brings his hit Edinburgh Fringe spy thriller The Final Chase to the Butterfly Club on Wednesday 19th November-Sunday 23rd November. The Final Chase is a noir-as-hell comedy cabaret featuring the suave Australian spy (Ford) chasing down his arch-nemesis and a devastating femme fatale through Southeast Asia-all set to a pulsing electronic soundtrack and riveting video projections.

The Final Chase takes place at The Butterfly Club, Carson Place, Melbourne: Wednesday 19 through Sunday 23 November inclusiveTimes: 6pm Nov 19 & 23, 7pm Nov 20, 21 & 22Tickets: $32 / $28Bookings & info: https://www.thebutterflyclub.com/show/the-final-chase

As smoothly lethal as Daniel Craig's James Bond, but with a voice like Hugh Jackman's, Ford weaves a story of 'raucous, riveting intensity' (five stars, Time Out London). In a rave four-and-a-half star review for his 2013 Adelaide Fringe show, Adelaide Theatre Guide described Ford as 'fantastically entertaining' and his music as 'violently surreal, aggressively sexual and face-meltingly awesome. (Ford's show) is a terrible, horrific, offensive affront to traditional cabaret. And I loved every minute of it.'Plaudits for The Final Chase during its Edinburgh Fringe run include a four-star review by The Scotsman: '... a vivid tale of passion, betrayal and way too much booze that stays with you after the final rifle sight has faded from the screen.'Ford's notoriety as an electro-cabaret performer has spread like a dirty secret since 2003, through a relentless schedule of touring, performing and recording.

His brain-melting live shows see him smashing cabaret into live electronic beats, video projections and myriad costume changes while engaging in a push-pull of love and hate with his audience, who he cajoles, coddles, cuddles, grasps, gropes and grapples with throughout the night. He has won five WA Music Industry Awards and was nominated for the TO&ST Cabaret Award at its Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2012.He has played the Big Day Out nationally on the Lilyworld stage, at Laneway Festival, Southbound, Perth International Arts Festival, Future Music Festival and Summadayze, and has supported Birds Of Tokyo nationally, Gary Numan, Architecture In Helsinki, The Presets, Of Montreal and Mouse On Mars.
