The Fringe Wives Club Stage a Launch Party of Their Hit Show
The multi-award nominated Fringe Wives Club - aka comedians Tessa Waters, Victoria Falconer and Rowena Hutson are staging a Launch Party of their smash hit show, 'Glittery Clittery: a ConSENSUAL Party' in preparation for when it hits Perth's Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe and an exclusive one-night only extra special show at the MICF in April.
The girls were this year nominated for Best Cabaret Awards at both Fringe World in Perth and the Melbourne Fringe, and were also Moosehead Award recipients at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2017, picking up a sought-after MICF Best Newcomer nomination at MICF as well. Their show is a new take on comedy and feminism. The girls are both performers and passionate feminists and wanted to make a show that explores the themes of feminism in a fun, inclusive way.
Format for the night is a line up show hosted by the Fringe Wives, audience games and prizes, and a dance party with Fringe Wives Dj-ing till midnight. It will also feature performances by Romeo is not the Only Fruit (incredible new company of young theatre makers--all queer women with a banging musical), Two Little Dickheads, comics Michelle Brasier & Laura Frew in Double Denim, and Tessa Waters solo. From: Saturday, 20 Jan, 7:00 pm
To: Sunday, 21 Jan, 12:00 am
