What happens when a doctor falls in love with their patient? When a wife befriends her husband's new love? Or when a cleaner is allergic to housecleaning? Find the answers in Sarah Ruhl's multi-award winning comedy The Clean House, starring TV's Brooke Satchwell from 28 June in Brisbane.
Lane and Charles are both doctors, and charismatic Matilde is their Brazilian cleaner, who is trying to create the perfect joke and avoid cleaning. When Charles moves in with his older patient, Ana, it is Matilde who finds comedy and common ground between the two households.Says Director Kate Cherry, "The Clean House is a wonderfully visual piece of theatre full of profound and magical moments, quirky humour and unexpected plot twists.
