Agora Gallery's 'Out from Down Under and Beyond' Exhibition Concludes June 1

By:

Agora Gallery is excited to announce its May exhibition. Scheduled to run from May 11, 2010 through June 1, 2010, this three-part exhibition is contemporary painting at its finest: colorful, brave, and breathtaking. Out From Down Under and Beyond: The Australian and New Zealand Art Exhibition is a fascinating survey of the newest in Australian and New Zealander art. Whether depicting the natural landscape, the human figure or the multitude of human emotions, these artists test the boundaries of abstraction and aesthetic representation. The artists in The Persistence of Form are a talented group of artists who have distinctive techniques and interests. The artworks complement one another by exploring individual perspectives and the imaginative means to express them. The Saturated Palette displays the expressive central role that an artist's palette plays in the creation of a painting. Highly energetic and personal, these artists forge new pathways of visual articulation, while exploring music, philosophy and distant locales. The selection of art works will delight audiences who embark upon an exploration of imagery rich with symbolism and a vigorous pulse.
