By:

Mary Moody Northen Theatre, the award-winning producing arm of the St. Edward's University professional theatre training program, continues its 41st anniversary season with the hilarious and touching musical Merrily We Roll Along, book by George Furth, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, based on the play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. This delightful production runs April 3 - 13, 2014.

Set over three decades and traveling backward in time, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between three friends, Franklin, Charley and Mary, as they negotiate their personal and professional lives in the entertainment business. Merrily We Roll Along will feature guest artists Tyler Jones, Jarret Mallon and Scott Shipman. The production will be directed by Ev Lunning, Jr. with musical direction by Susan Finnigan.

Performances will run Thursday - Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. A performance will be added on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Students, Seniors, and the SEU Community. They are available through the MMNT Box Office at 512.448.8484 or online at http://www.stedwards.edu/mmnt.
