Celebrate the beauty and splendor of springtime through music with Swing into Spring, part of the concert series Swing Night at the Aurora Theatre featuring the Metro Jazz Club on Saturday, April 16 at 8:00 PM. It's time to shake off the cobwebs of winter and celebrate the most beautiful time of year with blossoms blooming, birds singing and the big band sound of the Metro Jazz Club, a group dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed from the smoothest jazz to the spirited rhythms of swing.

The Metro Jazz Club is a smokin'-hot 17 piece band, led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton. Swing into Spring will mark the debut of their newest member crooner Jason Joines. Jason stared out as the front man for 80's rock band Faith ‘n Pain. Now his passion lies in the great American songbook with influences from his childhood, the melodies of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Nat King Cole. Your hostess for the evening will be the incomparable Ann-Carol Pence, Aurora Theatre Associate Producer. Very few vocalists combine the power and beauty of Ann-Carol Pence as she thoughtfully interprets a phrase of music.
