|the claque| (Artistic Director/Founder, Nick Leavens) announced today that its wildly successful cold soup competition, Some Like It Cold, will be returning to Huckleberry Bar in Williamsburg on Sunday September 9th. Gazpacho, velouté, borscht, cucumber cream! Yum! For $10, guests get to cool off with all the cold soup they can swallow, the opportunity to judge, and free libations! Competitors get the chance to face off for a gaggle of prestigious prizes. And best of all, it's free to compete! dedicated to creating excellent work while heightening the level of discourse in the arts. This approach is designed to encourage and allow artists to thrive, fostering an adaptive, collegial approach to creation and discussion in a structure which supports artists. |the claque| has been operating since 2010 and growing ever since.

Huckleberry Bar (588 Grand St., Brooklyn) is an upscale, full service bar and small plates
restaurant located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Both a neighborhood favorite and a well
