Wickedperformer Marty Thomas, who kicked off a concert series with his band on Monday December 5, at NYC's Club XL (357 W. 16th St. between 8th and 9th Avenues), will return to the venue on Monday, December 12th.
Thomas will perform his original material with a live band, along with a wide variety of cover tunes, including hits from Wicked. He will be joined by George, Bortz, Gilliland and Smith for pop, rock and showtune duets.
Thomas, who is in the Wicked ensemble and who understudies the role of Boq, is a Grammy Award-nominated recording artist, and a "Star Search" Champion ("most widely known as "the guy who beat out Britney Spears with a perfect 4-stars performance!"). Thomas made his Broadway debut in The Secret Garden when he was 11 years old.
