Darlington Operatic Society has announced that tickets are on sale now for its next major musical production, the global rock phenomenon We Will Rock You. Tickets are on sale now
Packed with legendary music by Queen, We Will Rock You is a high-energy, futuristic musical featuring more than 20 of the band's greatest hits, including, "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Me Now," and "We Are the Champions."
This new production will be directed and choreographed by Joanne Hand. Musical direction will be led by Steven Hood.
Following the success of Joseph, which received widespread praise from audiences for its production values, performances and musical excellence, expectations are high for DarlingtonOS's take on this smash hit musical.
“After the amazing response to Joseph, we're really excited to be announcing our next production,” said DarlingtonOS Chair Eddie Taylor-Jones. “We Will Rock You is such a high-energy show, packed with music everyone knows and loves, and it's going to be great fun to bring it to life. With Joanne Hand leading on direction and choreography and Steven Hood heading up the music, we've got a fantastic team in place and I think audiences are going to love what we create.”
