On last night's Celebrity Duets episode of American Idol, Lea Michele appeared to sing a duet version of Defying Gravity from Wicked with contestant Ada Vox.

Lea Michele is best known for her performance as Rachel Berry on the hit series Glee. Lea has been on Broadway, appearing in productions of Les Misérables (1995-1996), Ragtime (1997-1999), Fiddler on the Roof (2004-2005), and Spring Awakening (2006-2008).

The sixteenth season of American Idol premiered on March 11, 2018, on the ABC television network. Although this is the sixteenth overall season, it is the first season of American Idol to air on ABC, and is considered season 1 of the revival series. Ryan Seacrest continued his role as the show's host, while Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie joined as judges.

American Idol airs Sundays and Mondays at 8/7c.
