The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is pleased to announce THE PLAY'S THE THING. Directed by Brandon Gardner, this exciting improvised run will play a 4-week limited engagement. Performances will be Tuesdays at 11:00 PM, starting October 8th and will continue October 15th, 22nd, and will close on the 29th. All performances will be held at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Chelsea located at 307 West 26th Street, New York, NY. Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre veteran Brandon Gardner (The Curfew, Improv Nerds) directs this edition of THE PLAY'S THE THING, after directing two previous editions of THE IMPROVISED PLAY as well as THE HAROLD (PINTER), an entirely improvised piece in the style of Harold Pinter. THE PLAY'S THE THING combines both traditional theatre and long-form improvisational comedy to create a fully improvised play before an audience each night, created in the moment, never to be seen again.

THE PLAY'S THE THING ensemble includes Sebastian Conelli, Betsy Kenney, Rory Kulz, Greg Nussen, Nicole Pasquale, Patrick Regan, David Rosenberg, Stefan Schuette, Marie Semla, Alex Song, Will Stephen, and Alex Viola.
