In honor of the 114th birthday of Oscar Hammerstein II (July 12th),Ted Chapin, President and Executive Director of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization is joined by librettist and lyricist Michael Korie to discuss the legacy of the great librettist and musical theater innovator. The show includes musical performances of Rodgers & Hammerstein favorites by actors/singers Liz Callaway and Andrew Samonsky

We focus on Thornton Wilder's Our Town, one of the most beloved and frequently performed plays in the world. Guests include Wilder nephew (and expert), Tappan Wilder; writer and cultural analyst Jeremy McCarter of Newsweek and David Cromer, director of the celebrated revival of the classic, now playing Off-Broadway in New York City, in which he also appears as "the Stage Manager."

Theater Talk, the series devoted to the world of the stage, is co-hosted by Michael Riedel, Broadway columnist for the New York Post and series producer Susan Haskins.
