Themes and Plays Chosen for September's Bad Plays Festival

Theme nights and plays have been chosen for the International Cringe Festival's Bad Plays Festival.

The selections follow:

Theme: Something to Offend Everyone

Theme: Sex, Thugs and Rock 'n Roll
"Revenge is Best Served Cold" by: Samuel Toll
"God's Pants Too Huge" by: George Holets
"Artist vs. Landlord" by: Doron Braunshtein
"Sexual Perversity in Connecticut" by: Mike Folie
"The Age Game" by: Joan Blake & Tia Maria
"Perfect Pitch" by: Patricia Lee Stotter

Theme: Swingtime for Hitler (& Friends)
"Goebbels!  One Night Only!  Live from Hell!" by: Scott Munson

Theme: Little Boxes Made of Ticky-Tacky
"Going Postal" by George Holets
"The Greatest in the Whole Wide World" by: David Kosh

Theme: Is That a Gun in Your Pocket?
"Aphrodite's Nightie" by: Frank O'Donnell

Theme: "Poking at Sacred Cows" (a faux classical romp)

"The Queen's Privy" by: Michael Paul Girard 

The Players Theatre in the Village will stage the festival for three weeks in the fall:  September 10-30.
