Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents Meet the Coaches (And Audition Info Session) on Saturday, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 12pm at the DeSotelle Theatre, 300 West 43rd Street (at 8th Ave.), 3rd floor, NYC 10036.

According to TRU executive director Bob Ost: "We want all actors to do their best at the TRU audition, and all auditions. And we firmly believe that even the most experienced actor needs an outside eye to help shape their audition piece. Trust us - the room can tell who has been coached and who hasn't. It makes a huge difference. That's why we offer this annual opportunity for actors to meet a lineup of recommended coaches who want nothing more than to make them shine!"

TRU gives priority spots to anyone registered for the TRU Audition on April 9th and 10th (even if you haven't been passed in officially), but all actors are welcome to Meet the Coaches. To make a reservation, visit http://truonline.org/events/meet-the-coaches. Reservations are required! The event is free for TRU members and every actor who is registered for the TRU Audition; $25 for others (applicable towards the audition fee).

Sign-in/registration begins at 11:45am, an information and audition Q&A will be at 12:00pm with TRU executive director Bob Ost and 2015 audition producer Jody Lyn Flynn. Then a stellar lineup of acting, music and business coaches will give brief presentations starting at 1pm, followed by a elegantly catered reception and one-on-one meetings with the coaches until 3pm, so actors can get a real sense of the "vibe" and their compatibility.

This year's Meet the Coaches event includes monologue coaches Valerie Adami, John DeSotelle, Gillien Goll, Bob Kale, and Alexa Kelly; vocal coaches Robin Carus, Michelle Hakala-Wolf, Jane Seaman, Kimberly Vaughn; and business coach Annie Chadwick. To learn more about the coaches, visit truonline.org/events/meet-the-coaches.

2016 TRU Audition producers Carly Bauer, Lauren Fischetti and Jesse Langston will also be on hand to address actor questions, concerns and special requests and to register any actors who decide they would like to attend the TRU Audition on April 9th and 10th.
