The Scissor Sisters DJ At AMNH's One Step Beyond 2/4
One Step Beyond continues its fourth season at the American Museum of Natural History. During this ongoing party series, guests can dance in the Museum's Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Hall of the Universe to the sounds of the biggest names in techno, electronica, hip-hop, and indie rock.
Guests can also enjoy a complimentary screening of one of the breathtaking Hayden Planetarium Space Shows. January's feature is Cosmic Collisions, narrated by Robert Redford, which reveals the explosive encounters that shaped our solar system, changed the course of life on Earth, and continue to transform our galaxy and universe. A beer and wine bar keeps the party going. Each ticket also includes one pass to the Museum for future use.

The band's first single, a jacked-up disco version of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb", became an international success-scoring a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Record and becoming the top-selling album of 2004 in the UK. Their latest effort "Night Work," debuted at #2 on the UK Charts, #1 on the US Billboard Independent Album charts, and in the top 10 in several international territories. Entertainers at heart, Scissor Sisters have earned a reputation for their live performances, filling venues from New York's Bowery Ballroom to London's O2 Arena, and have collaborated with an array of artists from Jim Henson's Muppets to Kylie Minogue and Boy George.
