Rudy Cecera's comedy The Drama Couple will be presented at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre on July 18th, 20th, and 21st.

"A veteran joke writer for David Letterman and Jay Leno, Rudy Cecera blends verbal and physical comedy in a tale of two highly competitive actresses with completely opposite acting and life styles, forced by circumstances to room together and endure each other. Their need for affordable housing coupled with their personal and professional differences plunge them into the hillarity and depths of roommate war. What really twists their relationship is that their on-stage characters spill over into their off-stage reality," state press notes.

The production will feature Ashlynn Yennie as Adie, Debra Jans as Maxine, and Cecera as Mr. Cella, as well as John Dalmon and Steven Viola.  Bernard Etienne directs.

The Manhattan Repertory Theatre is located at the leading edge of Broadway's theater district at 303 West 42nd Street. It's clean, offers a complimentary beverage and is air conditioned. For information and tickets go to www.manhattanrep.com or call 1-646-329-6588.
