Actor/ Musician Richard Stillman will be performing THE SPIRIT OF VAUDEVILLE at the UNITED SOLO THEATRE FESTIVAL on October 19th at 2 pm.

It celebrates the musical vaudeville of the 1920's with banjo strumming, mandolin and ukulele songs, bagiping, hat tricks, tap dancing, storytelling , rope tricks & wacky Charleston dances. Some of the vaudeville characters you've heard of before such as: Will Rogers, Ukulele Ike and Harry Lauder and some of them you've never heard of because he made them up.

Richard plays several of Ukulele Ike's songs in the show. This is what the critics said about his performance in the Ukulele Ike role in the 1987 production of "Lady Be Good" at the Goodspeed Opera House and the Kennedy Center.
