What do Fiona of SHREK, Inga of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, Jo March of LITTLE WOMEN, Janet Van De Graaff of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and Millie Dillmount of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE all have in common? They were all played by the award-winning Broadway ingénue, Sutton Foster. And on Saturday, May 29th East End audiences will be able to hear her live on the Bay Street stage at 8pm.

AN EVENING WITH Sutton Foster, is an intimate concert performance featuring many of the hit songs she created in her memorable Broadway career, as well as her favorite classic and pop songs and additional selections from her new CD, "Wish." Michael Rafter, who provided music direction on Foster's album, will serve as the Music Director for the evening. In addition to her performance, Ms. Foster will also participate in a special after-party event on stage for lucky individuals who purchase a premium ticket.

Ms. Foster's awards are many, beginning with her 2002 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Awards for THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Sutton played Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL for which she earned 2005 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations. Her performance as Janet Van De Graaff in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE earned her 2006 Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations. Sutton recently starred on Broadway as Princess Fiona in SHREK: THE MUSICAL and was honored with Tony and Drama Desk nominations, and the Outer Critics Circle Award.

Ms. Foster's path to Broadway began at the age of 4 when her mother enrolled her in ballet. Soon jazz and tap, her favorite, came into the mix and she was cast in a community production of ANNIE, of which "the theater was actually in a barn!" recalls Ms. Foster. Seven years later, while still in high school, she answered a dancers call for the national tour of THE Will Rogers FOLLIES. Her callback was in New York in front of Tommy Tune and Cy Coleman. She got the job as the youngest member of the ensemble and has never looked back. Foster landed replacement roles in LES MISERABLES and GREASE followed by work in ANNIE and THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. Then came the title role in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and the rest is, well, history.

Foster's show, described by one critic as "charged with emotion and excitement" is a not-to-be-missed event. Stephen Holden of THE NEW YORK TIMES says her songs incorporate "themes of wishfulness, of throwing off cares and dreaming the future into becoming the present". Who could ask for a more enchanting way to begin the summer in the Hamptons?

Tickets for this ONE NIGHT ONLY performance are $75. Premium tickets to the show are $125 and include the post-performance reception on stage with Sutton herself.
