Nilaja Sun, whose solo show, No Child . . . is currently in its 11th hit month off-Broadway, won the Jury Prize at the 13th Annual Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO, this weekend.  Sun gave two sold-out performances of No Child… at the Wheeler Opera House on Friday and Saturday. (Performances of No Child . . . will resume in New York at the Barrow Street Theatre on Wednesday).

In addition, TastiSkank, comprised of Broadway stars Sarah Litzsinger (Beauty and the Beast) and Kate Reinders (Wicked), were awarded Breakout Award Female.  Jennifer Westfeldt, who starred as Eileen in Broadway's Wonderful Town, won Best Actress for her performance in Ira & Abby, which won Best Feature.

The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival presents cutting-edge new talent in its annual weeklong event.  Awards are given to performers whose talents range from stand-up, sketch and alternative comedy to theater and independent film.
