Stars will Roast Fisher Stevens in the Naked Angels' Fish-Fry Gala

The Off-Broadway theatre company Naked Angels will honor actor Fisher Stevens in its annual fundraising gala on Monday evening, May 23rd. Fish Fry will feature the all-star line-up of Naomi Watts, Mariska Hargitay, Liev Schreiber, Julianna Margulies, Marisa Tomei, Matt Dillon, Patrick Breen, Griffin Dunne, Kelli Klein, Julia Stiles, Annette O'Toole, Donna Hanover, Karen "Duff" Duffy, Joe Pantoliano, Rob Morrow, Rocco DiSpirito, Kristen Johnson, Amy Irving, Richard Kind, Hope Davis, Alexander Chaplin, Jeremy Piven and Gina Gershon doing just that to Stevens--good-naturedly frying him in a Friar's Club-style roast. Michael McKean will serve as MC with Peter Askin directing.
A VIP reception at 8 PM will kick off the evening at the Puck Building, followed by the roast at 9 PM. After-dinner snacks and cocktails will finish off the evening.Naked Angels (of which Stevens is one of the founding members) is now under the artistic direction of Jenny Gersten, formerly of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Ms. Gersten will lead the company into its 20th season with new plays, the Issues Project, special music, a drama readings series and workshops of new theatrical works.
