The League of American Theatres and Producers has announced dates for two upcoming events. "Stars in the Alley" will be presented on June 7th, while "Broadway on Broadway" is set for September 10th. No performers have been announced for either event yet.
"Stars in the Alley" is "an annual, free outdoor concert...Each spring, on the Wednesday before the Tony Awards, Shubert Alley fills with as many as 3,000 fans as Broadway stars take to the stage to celebrate the end of the season, which runs from June to May," states the event's website."Broadway on Broadway" is also a free outdoor concert. It is the "quintessential New York City event: 50,000 spectators at the Crossroads of the World, live numbers from Broadway shows performed on a giant outdoor stage, television cameras, a galaxy of celebrity performers, and a big finale with loads of confetti."Visit www.livebroadway.com for more information.Videos
