Gossip icon Cindy Adams reports in The New York Post that former governor Eliot Spitzer treated himself to a performance of ALL MY SONS on Broadway. She details a witty exchange he had with a fellow theatergoer, the patron remarked to Spitzer: "Wow, you must think this is a really great show if you would dare to make a public appearance like this." "Yeah, well," said the former Gov. "This may be the best show I've ever seen."

Arthur Miller's ALL MY SONS stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson, and Katie Holmes, directed by Simon McBurney, and is currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

The cast of ALL MY SONS also features Becky Ann Baker (Sue Bayliss), Christian Camargo (George Deever), Jordan Gelber (Frank Lubey), Danielle Ferland (Lydia Lubey), Damian Young (Dr. Jim Bayliss), and Michael D'Addario (Bert).

Arthur Miller's first successful play, All My Sons won the Tony Award for the author in 1947 and ran for 328 performances on Broadway. Miller took his inspiration from a true story about a successful business man who knowingly sold the government defective airplane parts during World War II with tragic consequences. The truth comes out and his life unravels when his son prepares to marry his business partner's daughter.
