Spike Hill Presents Hard Nips 7/31

Brooklyn-based post-punk band Hard Nips will perform at Spike Hill on Saturday, July 31st at 10:00 PM in support of their CD, "I Shit You Not." Comprised of angelic vocalist Yoko Nips, guitarist Mariko Nips, bassist Gooch Nips and drummer Emi Nips, the riff-heavy band cites "sex, sushi and rock & roll" as their inspiration. The all-girl foursome produces a sound reminiscent of the power-pop of The Go-Go's and Blondie, dipped in soy sauce. With their magnetic stage performance and blatant camaraderie, Hard Nips have blazed a trail throughout New York and will be playing Spike Hill for the first time on the 31st. Bring the wasabi.
