Sharon Small to Star in UK Tour of Alzheimer's Drama STILL ALICE

Actress Sharon Small, (Mistresses, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries) has signed on to star in a touring stage production of the novel Still Alice.

The upcoming work is based on a novel by Lisa Genova about an academic in the throes of Alzheimer's disease, and its impact on her family and her life.

Writer Christine Mary Dunford will be adapting the book for the stage.

David Grindley will direct the tour which is set to kick off at Sheffield's Lyceum Theatre on September 11.

Julianne Moore starred in the 2014 screen adaptation, a perforance which won her the academy award for Best Actress.
