National Theatre Live's fifth season continues with the highly-anticipated premiere of the Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare's CORIOLANUS with Tom Hiddleston in the title role and Mark Gatiss as Menenius, directed byJosie Rourke, broadcast to cinemas and performing arts venues around the world from their Covent Garden home today, January 30, 2014 (with many encore dates in U.S. cities). National Theatre Live can be seen at cinemas screens throughout North America. The premiere broadcast can be seen in New York City at City Cinemas 123.

In CORIOLANUS, when an old adversary threatens Rome, the city calls once more on her hero and defender: Coriolanus. But he has enemies at home too. Famine threatens the city, the citizens' hunger swells to an appetite for change, and on returning from the field Coriolanus must confront the march of realpolitik and the voice of an angry people.
