It was the night of the standing ovations on last night's AMERICAN IDOL. The Top 9 took the stage performing songs by their own personal idols, including Miranda Lambert, Beyonce, and Led Zeppelin. The judges stood up a record five times: for comeback kids Heejun and DeAndre, as well as for Phillip, Joshua, and Elise.

Guest mentor Stevie Nicks advised the contestants to sing their hearts out, and they did. Steven called it "a magical mystery tour of over-the-top talent and emotion," and Jennifer couldn't stay in her chair. In fact, the judges said that they couldn't name even one contestant who's in danger, because as Randy put it, "They were all so good." Tonight we'll find out the voting results, plus Nicki Minaj and Scotty McCreery will perform.
