Broadway diva Patti LuPone continues to branch out in her television career with a vocal appearance as Yellow Diamond on Cartoon Network's STEVEN UNIVERSE. Also appearing is Christine Pedi, best known for her work with Forbidden Broadway and On Broadway on Sirius XM.

STEVEN UNIVERSE is the coming-of-age story of a young boy named Steven Universe, who lives in the town of Beach City with the "Crystal Gems" - Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst, three magical aliens. Steven, who is half-Gem, goes on adventures with his friends and helps the Gems protect the world from their own kind who dislike the planet Earth. The show was created by Rebecca Sugar and premiered in November of 2013. Currently in its fourth season, the series has been nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy Awards. It is Cartoon Network's first animated series to be created solely by a woman.
